Well, it seems that it's really a fashion faux-pas today if you don't have a blog ... For me, I couldn't care less about fashion (those who see how I dress can agree to this, they can't even define my style, it's a day-to-day thing. My husband would like me to pick up clothes for the kids - and myself I guess - every evening so it would save us some time in our already busy mornings, but I CAN'T ! I have to see what the weather is like to decide what to wear and what the kids should wear. I also have to stick my noze out the window to figure out if it's too cold to wear just a sweater or if I / they will need a jacket / socks / scarf ... Ok, so this was a very long parenthesis about fashion). So, why this blog ? Probably because although I speak a lot everyday I still can't manage to say everything I have to say. And also because there are stuff I can't find anyone to tell because no one really cares. And I guess this is what blogs are for too. So you can speak your mind and whoever wants to read it can.
Now, why in English and not in French, my mother tongue ? Well, that's also the purpose of this blog, to try to do an instrospection (Introspection is the self-observation and reporting conscious inner thoughts, desires and sensations) of the reasons why speaking, writing, and dreaming in English are so important to me. Not that I really want to, it just comes naturally, like a second nature. There are things I find sound a lot better in English but there are others I find cannot be described a well as in Molière's language.
So you'll have to forgive me for all the spelling mistakes I will make and also for the funny way some things will sound because, remember, as fluent as this may look like to you, English is not my native language. I'll explain how I learnt English in another post.
And last but not least, this blog is also about pouring out my soul and inner thoughts on life, being a christian, children, marriage, work ... in no particular order.
I hope you have as much fun reading it as I have writing it !
